Welcome! These Terms govern your access to and use of the website located at alos.no and any content, features, or contact forms we make available (collectively, the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Site.

Use of the Site

  • Don’t misuse the Site: no illegal activity, infringement, scraping, automated bulk access, security testing, or attempts to disrupt, overload, or bypass controls.
  • We may suspend or restrict access at any time if we believe there’s misuse, risk, or maintenance need.

Content & IP

  • Unless stated otherwise, the Site (design, text, graphics, logos) is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by IP laws. All rights reserved.
  • You may link to public pages and share short excerpts with attribution. Do not copy, mirror, or redistribute substantial portions without our written permission.
  • If you submit content to us (e.g., feedback via a form or email), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it to operate, improve, and promote the Site. You promise you have the right to share it and that it doesn’t infringe others’ rights.

Third-party services & links

  • We use third-party services to run the Site, including Cloudflare (hosting/CDN/security), Google Analytics 4, and Microsoft Clarity (analytics). These providers may collect data as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • The Site may link to third-party websites. We don’t control or endorse them and aren’t responsible for their content or practices. Use them at your own risk.

Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect (including via analytics) and your choices.

Age requirements

The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). Do not use the Site if you are under that age.

No warranties

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties (express or implied), including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that content will be accurate or current.

Limitation of liability

  • Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed €50 (or the equivalent in local currency). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g., fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence).

You agree to indemnify and hold Alos and our directors, officers, employees, and agents harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Site or violation of these Terms.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll post the new version with a new “Last updated” date. If you continue using the Site after changes take effect, you agree to the updated Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or end access to the Site at any time and without notice if needed to protect the Site or comply with law. You may stop using the Site at any time.

Governing law & venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway (without regard to conflict-of-law rules). Courts in Norway will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where local consumer law gives you a different mandatory forum.

Severability & assignment

If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a reorganization, merger, or sale.
